I know it's been forever since I've updated my blog!!!

We just got finished having a wonderful visit from Michelle , Justin and Lauren! She flew from South Florida by herself with the two children. We loved every minute of them being here and hopefully they did too! We did a cave tour, saw Lincoln's Birthplace, did tons of swimming and just had a plain old good time!

The cousins all got along great!!! Davin was thrilled to have a playmate to "pal" around with! I don't think the smile left his face the entire time.

This was the first time they have visited us since we've lived here in Kentucky! We wanted to make sure and show them a good time! The kids road the 4 wheeler and the Dune Buggy. Played on the big Water slide as well! Ohh and Yum... We roasted marshmellows and made smores one night too!!! It was such a great time!
We definately need to have more "together" time, and make the effort to visit eachother more often!!!!

My Daughters 9th Birthday Bash!

Hmmm.... What a night! Serena wanted a sleepover for her 9th birthday party! Thats just what she got!!! 15 girls!! Thats alot of girls for sleeping over! Good thing we have a nice large basement! We had a great time! Had a Karaoke Contest, Dance Dance Revolution Contest, Mummy Contest, We roasted Marshmellows at the fire pit and made smores! It was a great time! I think the last girl feel asleep at 2am and the first one up at about 7:30am! It was a great time and tons of fun!

WE GOT A NEW PUPPY!

Well we did it! We've added another addition to our family. I'm introducing "Libby" She is a Pomeranian. Right now she weighs only 2.4lbs. We are really enjoying her. The kitties are slowly getting there nose back from being out of joint. I think Abby is actually warming up to her! She's a real ball of fire! Chloe is another story! But I'm sure with time they will all be great friends.

Now I have to get used to potty training again and crying puppy through the night! She's getting better though!

A trip to the Mountain Air!

Well we took a family trip to Waynesville NC to visit my inlaws. While we were there we went to Ghost Town in the sky in Maggy Valley.. Little did I know you had to take a chair lift to even get into the park.. YIKES I thought... Now a days it's so scary cause you never know whats going to happen on these rides.

Did I mention I'm not crazy about heights, dangling in the air on some little chair.

All in All it was a fun trip, BEAUTIFUl view and fresh mountain air! Here is a view going up and one coming down.. Whoa!!!!!

My 6 Year Old's Birthday Party

WOW, Can't beleive he's six allready! Where has the time gone by.Seems like yesterday I was feeding him bottles and changing diapers. Now he's growing so quickly! This summer the kids got this big water slide.. Whoa, are they enjoying it. So the birthday party this year was a water party.What a huge hit!. This year we didn't just invite the kids, but their families too. Nothing better then getting together with good friends for an outside BBQ..grilling hot dogs, potatoe salad, fresh fruit...cupcakes and cookies..YUM!. The best part was the kids were entertained by this slide and there were no fights and complaining!! Success!!! We did it!!!

A Proud Moment For Mom

Last night was my 8 year old daughters very 1st recital! She sang "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" and "nailed it". She's been taking voice lessons since January, we've had our ups and downs about practicing, and rehearsing but all in all in the end it was a TOTAL success. I couldn't of been any prouder of her then I was last night. Getting up on a real stage with over 100 people there, big lights shining on her, and SHE DID IT!!!!! At the end of the show, there was a group performance as well. It was just a fabulous night! She was my shining star!! I'm so proud of her!!

Keeping it All in The Family!!!! Ever since I was little I remember my Mom sewing and crafting. Always making something! Whether is was place mats for the table, or Christmas ornaments she's always into something. Unfortunately I didn't get her fabulous sewing skills. I've always envied them. I've tried, even have my own sewing machine, but the skill just isn't there! For the last few years she's been making the most beautiful handbags/totes. She started out selling on EBay, and does VERY well on there. She makes anything from Novelty Bags, Sport Team Bags, Checkbook covers.. basically any team or theme you can think of.Recently I got her on Etsy. Although the sales aren't as well as they are on EBay, She's getting there!

Bea Also does a wide variety of childrens bags too... You can always get your little one a beautiful princess bag, favorite character bag.. The possibilities are endless!

Welcome to Prettybowtique! A wonderful place to accessorize the girls in your life! From the smallest all the way up to the older ones. I have something for everyone. I started making bows for my daughter a few years ago when I got tired of not being able to find what I wanted, or the style I liked. I thought to myself..I can do this..... so I did.
